Young Widow Financial Support Scheme:

National Women Helpline, launched Young Widow Support Scheme a crucial social security program for widows belonging to all families across India. Aimed at providing financial assistance, the scheme ensures that widows are not left without support after the loss of their spouse.

Monthly Financial Support :

Under this scheme, widows aged 20 to 40 years will be given a monthly financial Support of Rs 1000/-, The amount will be directly transferred to the beneficiary’s bank account.

    • Death Certificate (of husband)
    • Age Proof (birth certificate/school record)

  • Be a widow
  • Belong to a lower economic family
  • Be aged 20-40 years.
  • Not be receiving any other pension from government schemes
