Dr Ambedkar National Women’s Fellowship:
Dr. Ambedkar National Women’s Fellowship is a 12-month, full-time, residential training program focused on developing transformational leadership skills in SC/ST/OBC young girls to drive positive change in India’s social and public systems, particularly in education and health. It emphasizes experiential learning, self-discovery, and practical problem-solving within government systems.
Transformational Leadership:
The program aims to cultivate leaders who can drive change within themselves and the systems they work within.
Fellows engage in real-world challenges by working directly with government primary schools and health officials, fostering a deep understanding of societal issues.
The fellowship incorporates practices like Vipassana meditation and Social, Emotional, and Ethical Learning to enhance self-awareness and personal development.
Fellows learn to collaborate, innovate, and implement solutions to address large-scale societal challenges, working with government officials at various levels.
The program is designed for young ST/ST/OBC girls passionate about contributing to India’s development, particularly in sectors like education and public health.
Fellows are encouraged to collaborate with various stakeholders and develop innovative solutions to address social problems.
The program emphasizes a continuous learning cycle where fellows plan, act, reflect on their actions, share their experiences, and plan for future actions.
